I'm waiting for the day VAG makes a street version of their diesel LMP engine. It's already got a DPF and shit. They could totally put SCR on it without killing performance too badly. :)

The whole thing was designed by an Italian, thats why it looks like something Fiat might have made. Not much about it is Japanese.

One of these is in my town, these pseudo Italian coupes are nice looking, it might be the first diesel offered in a modern sport coupe, I'll have to think about that. I like these too:

Well it was non other than Giorgetto Giugiaro who designed it, he designed at least ten Fiats and Alfas, two Ferraris, a few Lancias, Mangusta, Esprit... So they knew who they hired!

I haven't seen a recent example of Japanese engineering with Italian styling, I hope something like this comes up again though.
